The Pintuck Snap-On Presser Foot, a genuine SINGER accessory, is typically used in conjunction with a twin needle (not included) to embellish garments, table linens, and bed linens. Working with a SINGER Style 2025 twin needle, this foot creates evenly-spaced raised tucks in the fabric. The underside of the Pintuck Snap-On Presser Foot features a series of grooves that allow for perfectly parallel rows of raised tucks that will not be flattened when sewn. For more pronounced tucks, users can increase the upper thread tension or add a cord. Sewing intersecting rows of tucks can create an interesting texture on the fabric. This accessory works best with lightweight fabrics such as batiste, silk, and organdy.
The Pintuck Snap-On Presser Foot is compatible with low-shank sewing machines, including brands like Babylock, Bernina, Brother, Elna, Euro-Pro, Husqvarna Viking, Janome, Juki, Kenmore, Necchi, New Home, Pfaff, Simplicity, and White.
